1) You need to lose fat! With many of the fad eating programs, you may see the number on the scale go down, but in reality you are losing mostly water - not actual pounds. This doesn't make you healthier...it can make you dehydrated and is not a permanent.

2) Low carb and low fat eating programs don't work! Our bodies need both carbs and fats to function properly and if you cut them out completely, or don't eat enough of them, your energy level becomes very low and you end up reverting back to eating too much of these foods. Eat all things in moderation!

3) Long, frequent cardio work outs don't work at burning fat! You may not need to workout as much as you think. It is believed that long, very strenuous cardio workouts only burn fat for a short time, and you end up burning sugars for most of your workout. What a waste of time!
