This is a really simple diet. There are no restrictions on the types of food you can eat. It doesn't matter how greasy or fattening it is, you can have it. There is no restrictions on the amount. You can consume as much as you feel like. The only limitation is on the periods of eating and fasting. For a 24 hour period you can eat what you want and as much as you want. The next 24 hour period is a fast where you can only have water. This cycle repeats and that is how the diet works.
Fat loss with the intermittent fasting diet doesn't occur because you're eating less. People will actually consume the same amount of calories on average that they used to eat. That makes it a significant way to lose weight without actually having to restrict or limit the amount you eat.
