Rachel Ray's Weight Loss Diet - Tips From Rachel Ray on Weight Loss
The beloved celebrity cook, Rachel Ray, talked about weight loss on her recent show. Her guest there was Oprah's personal trainer Bob Greene. Rachel is known for her fast yet healthy recipes. We come across her recipes in the magazines and internet as well. She has a very interesting approach to weight loss & dieting. She says - 'eat less & move more.' It's more of a 'no dieting' approach.
Here are her tips to weight loss & dieting:
1. Dieting is no means of weight loss. The simple idea is to eat in a controlled manner.
2. Following a given diet chart only adds to your pressures; it is heavy on your pocket and is quite time consuming.
3. You must eat what is healthy.
4. Do not indulge in over eating.
5. Avoid fast foods, but once is a while they are okay to have.
6. Make a note of the food items that make you gain weight and particularly avoid those.
7. In case you are not hungry, just don't eat. That leads to over eating.
8. Do not skip your meals.
9. You must know your individual definition of a 'perfect body.' It is a must in case you have to work towards it.
10. Do not think negative. Convince yourself that you can lose weight and work towards it with a positive attitude.
11. Drink lots of water.
12. Avoid soda and aerated drinks.
13. Add plenty of vegetables & fruits in your diet.
14. When ever you get time, do some moderate exercises.
15. Avoid sitting for long hours.
16. Instead of avoiding the meals, eat healthy food such as salads, etc.
17. You must chalk out time to exercise at least 30 minutes in a day.
18. Avoid stress in your life. For that get indulged in some hobbies or some pleasure outings, or may be a simple walk would help.
