1. Increase your intensity in whatever exercise you do


Doesn't matter if you only do short 10 seconds bursts of all-out intensity and then go slow for 50 seconds. This works great. In fact, that's what I advocate... do 10 seconds as fast as you can and follow it up by doing 50 seconds at a slower and easier pace. This works for running/walking, the elliptical, the stairstepper, etc. Whatever. It's a proven concept for extremely fast weight loss.


2. If you're able to talk normal while exercising, you're wasting your time


Here's the deal. You need to create an oxygen deficit which then forces you to huff and puff to suck in more oxygen. This added oxygen you're taking in helps to burn off fat. It oxidizes it. That's why intense exercise works so great for weight loss.


3. Try to get in little 3 minute metabolism-booster workouts


You can do these at home during tv commercials. Just get up and do jumping jacks, jog in place, jump rope, jump on a mini-trampoline... whatever. Just do it for 3 minutes to help elevate your heart rate. These mini-workouts are extremely effective at boosting your metabolism. Even though they're relatively easy, they are good for that.
